| Child Cancer FunRazor |
The boss is shaving his head for child cancer! funrazor is a fundraiser for the Child Cancer Foundation. The money raised is used to help fund programmes for kids and their families on the childhood cancer journey, assists families finanacially through the treatment process and also funds research on cancer. We all know how important hair is to a hairdresser, so support Niq while he participates in funrazor 2008 in an effort to raise funds for Child Cancer Foundation by sponsoring him in salon or online at: http://www.fundraiseonline.co.nz/niqjames/ Niq along with others will be shaving his lid on Thursday 4 December,
5pm at Cathedral Square, so go along and watch. |

| GHD Evenings |
The team at niq james hairdressing are hosting GHD evenings throughout the year. It will be a practical evening where we will help you to achieve salon styles yourself, at home with your straightners. It will be a small focus group so that everyone can feel comfortable trying new techniques and asking questions. Drinks and nibbles are provided and you will also recieve 10% discount on product purchased on the night. Prices for the evening is $60 The next GHD evening will be on Monday 1 December, 6pm - 8pm. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve a space in our limited numbers. There will also be another evening early next year. |

Sydney Hair Expo 2008 |
On June 6, we took off to Sydney for Hair Expo, leaving Anna, Rachelle and Alicia to run the salon. We were gone for 5 days which included 3 days of looking around hairdressing trade stalls and attending seminars and workshops. We came back with loads of inpiration and new ideas . Our day off was spent shopping of course, and we also went on a Sydney Harbour night cruise. |

Cup Day 2007

We closed up for the day and headed off to the races along with our former Wella Technician, Karen, who is now based in Australia. We started out with a champange breakfast at The Dux de Lux, and ended the day with dinner at The Viaduct. A fun day was had by all, made better by a few winning bets. Niq entered the 'Best Dressed Man' competition and placed in the top 10.
